How Can severe Itchy Rash On The Armpit Be Treated?

I have an itchy rash that started under my left armpit and now on my chest area. I am itchy all over my legs and have noticed in the last 2 days extremely fatigued and short of breath. I have tried zyrtec, Phenergan, steroid cream as well as antiseptic creams but nothing seems to work. I am reluctant to go to Doctors because I have had itchy skin before from a titanium allergy and just prescribe steroid cream.

Hello,

Well, it could be Scabies only, which can be cured with a single dose of Ivermectin (standard dose 12 mg) orally in otherwise healthy persons.

Since itching is not relieved with Cetirizine (Zyrtec) and steroid. A clinical examination is needed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
